The President of Georgia issued an order about calling local elections, the normative act will be discussed on today’s government session for approval.
“The President issued an order, but elections are not scheduled, until the government also signs it. The government will discuss the matter on today’s session”, Parliamentary secretary of government Shalva Tadumadze said.
As InterPressNews was told by the administration of the President of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili declared 15 June as the day of elections in his address in parliament and nothing has changed in this respect.
