Tbilisi City Hall, will send the recommendations to the mayor`s office of Tbilisi, which will mostly refer to the expenditures` part of the draft budget 2014. The majority hopes that for the February 12 session, they will be able to discuss the corrected version of the draft, in which their recommendations will be reflected.
Meanwhile, Tbilisi government has released a special statement regarding the controversy of the capital`s budget, which has not been approved so far.
“Tbilisi government was prepared to accept the written recommendations by the City Assembly this week-end, however, we received nothing. Obviously, they have not prepared the remarks and recommendations yet. We do not want to think that they are delaying the process in time in order to make the February 12th session just a formal meeting again, the statement of the mayor`s office says
