Non-parliamentary opposition may have a joint candidate of Tbilisi mayor and MPs at the elections of the self-government.
The results of the consultations will be clarified later today. It has been already reported that the Christian Democratic Movement and the Democratic Georgia led by Nino Burjanadze will run in these elections together.
At the same time, Free Georgia Party and the Kartuli Dasi led by Jondi Baghaturia have already agreed on cooperation. Arguably, they will nominate their single-mandate candidates tomorrow.
Other non-parliamentary opposition parties are also holding consultations on cooperation. The New Rights hope that the non-parliamentary opposition parties will succeed to form a big coalition.
The Labour Party and the National Democrats have already announced that they will participate in these elections independently.
