Margvelashvili is leaving for Vilnius summit
The president of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili and Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze are leaving for Vilnius today.
The Eastern Partnership Summit will be held in the Lithuanian capital on November 28-29.
The summit will be led by the president of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy, together with the president of the European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso.
The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Catherine Ashton and Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze will initialize the Association Agreement.
The Lithuanian president Dalia Grybauskaite will host the summit. 6 partner countries will be presented by the president of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili, Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan, Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev, Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych, Prime Minister of Moldova, Yuri Leanca and Foreign Minister of Belarus, Vladimir Makey.
