OSCE finished its observation mission in Georgia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Maia Panjikidze stated after meeting the head of OSCE observation mission Matteo Mecacci.
Maia Panjikidze said that they have already published a report, and the other full report will be published by January.
“Our colleagues will arrive once more to hold a presentation of the full report in Georgia. Before publishing this report and leaving, the head of the mission holds meetings with all the Ministers also the partners and presidential candidates to share their experience and get information from them about their assessment of the elections”, the Minister of Foreign Affairs said.
Maia Panjikidze says that Georgia’s presidential election was highly assessed by OSCE and other observers too.
“This of course makes us happy, as it was what Georgian Dream, Bidzina Ivanishvili promised our voters and this promise must be kept. In my mind, it is one of the main achievements of the past year”, Panjikidze stated.
