The voter turnout was 32.05% by 15:00.
According to Eka Azarashvili, the Spokesperson for the Central Election Commission, 133,753 voters have already taken part in the elections.
As for the turnout of voters according to regions, the highest turnout is reported in Rach-Lechkhumi – 46.7%, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 34.3%, Guria – 39.9%, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 34.2%, Imereti – 33.9%, Adjara – 33.3%. The turnout in Tbilisi, Kakheti and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti regions is hovering between 31 and 32%. The lowest turnout – 26% - is reported in the Kvemo Kartli region.
According to Eka Azarashvili, voter turnout was 45% by 15:00 during the parliamentary elections last year.
