Eka Gigauri, Executive Director of Transparency International - Georgia, says the organization will raise the issue of changing the electoral system after the new parliament gathers.
As Gigauri said at today's briefing, the election results show that qualification of the election administration must be improved and the rule of formation of election commissions should be changed.
"The rules of formation of election commissions must be changed. We have seen problems in terms of qualifications. The most important issue which we will raise after the parliament gathers is changing the electoral system. You can nowhere see this kind of system in countries with a unicameral parliament, and very often, this system is used by the ruling party to preserve power and majority. This is very unfortunate. We have been looking at it for years,"- said Gigauri.
