Salome Zurabishvili, independent majoritarian candidate of the Mtatsminda district, calls on the district election commissions not to let more than three representatives of one and the same organization in a polling station.
Salome Zourabichvili said at a briefing today that Allmedia news agency accredited 3400 people for the first round of the elections and 500 more - for the second round.
In addition, Rustavi 2 has 700 accredited journalists and NGOs also have their representatives, she said. According to her, all this may serve two things: to fuel unrest or to exert pressure.
“If my arithmetic is correct, Allmedia has 30 representatives in one polling station and this is very bad. Nobody knows who these accredited people are.
All this may serve two things: to fuel unrest or to exert pressure. The law says that one organization should have no more than three representatives in one polling station. So, I call on the distract chairmen not to let more than three representatives of one and the same organization in the polling station and to avoid unrest”, she said and added that her representatives will report and document all violations on 30 October.
