Former Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili believes that the Georgian Dream will get 48-54% in the proportional elections, while 60-70 candidates will win in the majoritarian elections, - former Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili said at the meeting with the regional media.
“The party is absolutely dominant", - he said.
According to him, the barrier for majoritarian candidates has been increased from 30 to 50% after the Georgian Dream came to power.
He also said that with high probability there will be second rounds.
“There will be second rounds as an unprecedented number of candidates are running for the elections. There are about 8-9 candidates in one region, which means that votes will be distributed among many candidates and it will be difficult to get 50% of votes in the first round”, - he said.
