Today we have to choose a mayor which will be independent in his decisions and will not be accountable to only one person, National Movement’s Tbilisi mayoral candidate Nick Melia said.
He has already cast a ballot.
"Today we are having really very important elections, which must define Tbilisi fate in the next three years. I hope that many citizens will go to polls, including those who did not participate in the first round. We should choose a mayor who will be independent in his decisions and will be accountable to the residents of Tbilisi and not to a particular political party, or even worse – to one person. The mayor of the capital should be everyone's mayor, regardless of their political views’, Nika Melia said.
