City Court will make a statement about Gigi Ugulava’s decision to withdraw a motion on restoration of mayor’s authority today, Ugulava’s lawyer Gizo Uglava told InterpressNews.
The trial regarding the Tbilisi Development Fund case is scheduled for 14:00 today.
The court was to announce a decision on Ugulava’s motion yesterday, though the judge postponed it for today. After the postponement of the trial, Ugulava stated that he was withdrawing the motion, according to which he was requesting annulment of the 22 December decision regarding suspension of his mayoral powers.
