We welcome appearance of other opposition forces on the arena and the fact that city halls will be completed with many parties, - the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili stated it on a briefing in the central office of Georgian Dream.
He said that Information as if the rivals are only National Movement and Georgian Dream in the run-off, is not true. 6 opposition forces and Georgian Dream will be rivals in the run-off. Out of 21 rounds, National Movement is a rival of Georgian Dream only in 6 ones. In my opinion, National Movement deliberately spreads this false information and manipulates with digits. Therefore, I would like to note that our political force gained 67% of mandates throughout Georgia and 72% - in Tbilisi,” – Garibashvili said.
The coalition leader provided society with the latest data of the CEC according to which, Georgian Dream will be presented with 67% in city halls throughout Georgia and the rest parties and initiative groups – with 20%, and National Movement – with 13%.
‘’According to the results, Georgian Dream is leading in all city halls with 72%, where governors and mayors are leading in all regions and cities including the ones where the run-off was appointed,” – Prime Minister said.
He congratulated supporters of Georgian Dream on holding democratic elections and the achieved result.
