“Georgian Dream” has refused to corroborate the information regarding the would-be candidates of the coalition;
As the Georgian Dream Coalition Headquarters spokesperson, Giorgi Gegechkori, announced at yesterday’s press-conference, the list of the majoritarian deputy candidates as well as that of the proportional deputies has not been created thus far, and the public will be presented with their names within the terms envisaged by the election law.
“I do appeal you to thoroughly look over all kinds of information before spreading it; this will avoid us misrepresenting the truth; I do emphasize that the coalition’s door is wide open for the representatives of different media outlets,” stated Mr. Gegechkori.
As per yesterday’s reports, within the Tbilisi city Hall, the Georgian Dream Coalition majoritarion candidates will be the deputies as follows: Giorgi Muskhelishvili in Vake, Malka Gvaramia -- Didi Digomi, Guliko Zumbadze -- Didi Lilo, Jaba Samushia – Temka, Gia Korkotashvili – Krtsanisi, Jaba Jishkariani – Mtatsminda, Melor Vachnadze – Chughureti, Koba Kobaladze – Zahesi, Zaza Kolelishvili – Didube.
The local self-governmental elections are set to be held on 15 June; 25 majoritarian deputies are planned to be elected in total.
