Education

In 1992 Zurab Kharatishvili graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, faculty of Mechanics-Mathematics. In 1996 he was awarded diploma of the above mentioned university of the Faculty of International Economic Relations.

Working experience

In 1992-1996 he worked on the position of chief accountant in Ltd “GEA&Company”.  became a partner of auditor company "Nucleus Audit" in 1996-1998.

In 1998, Zurab Kharatishvili founded the Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors of Georgia, where he served as the chairman of the Board in 1998-2004 and he held the position of chairman in 2004-2006.

In 2000-2009 Zurab Kharatishvili was an executive director of the International Company KPMG. 

2008-2010 he became a member of Public Broadcaster Board.

Zurab Kharatishvili was the chairman of the Central Election Commission of Georgia in 2010-2013.

He has a wife and four children.
