Setting up Mobile Groups on the Election Day

On E-Day 4 mobile groups will be set up in Tbilisi, 6 groups will be set up in Batumi, Kutaisi, Telavi, Zugdidi and Gori (out of them 2 groups will work in Kutaisi and 1 in each Gori, Zugdidi, Batumi and Telavi).

Mobile groups will provide service to the voters using wheelchair or having difficulty in movement, in compliance with the route developed in advance. They will bring mentioned voters to the polling station, ensuring their independent participation in the elections.

Information about mentioned service can be provided to the society, by means of:

Information social videos;
Social networks and seminars;
The CEC contact centre (2-51-00-51);
Coalition helps line (2-35-66-09).
Mobile groups in Batumi, Kutaisi, Telavi, Zugdidi and Gori will be established within the frame of the project “Provision of equal electoral environment for the people with disabilities”, being implemented by Coalition “For Independent Life”, with financial support of LEPL - Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Training Centre, the CEC of Georgia is the partner of the project.

In Tbilisi mobile groups will be set up within the frame of the project – “Protecting electoral rights of the persons with disabilities”, being implemented by the Coalition “For Independent Life” with financial support of IFES.
